About Us

Michelle understands the importance of making a home your own and inspires clients to go beyond the conventional to create a home that is truly a reflection of them.

Since graduating from The International Academy of Design in 1991, she has acquired experience in retail design companies…from paint & decor through high end furniture and custom drapery. In 2011 she was given the opportunity to teach Materials & Finishes at Durham College and became a partner at Sum of 3 Designs, expanding her range to provide full service home renovations.

In 2013 she added teaching History of Furniture at Durham College, and in 2014 opened 2Co.Design. Michelle loves the diversity that each new project brings and having the opportunity to create beautiful homes.

From an early age, Kristen’s fascination with interior design was discovered, particularly drawn to vintage and antique pieces.

Since graduating from Humber College in 2023, Kristen has accumulated extensive experience and knowledge in the design field. Recently joining 2Co.Design Studio, she believes in the impact that the aesthetics and arrangement of one’s environment have on daily life and mental well-being, highlighting the importance of a well designed space.

Joanne’s fascination and inspiration for design started in her early teens. Growing up in a century home she was always painting and decorating the various rooms in their home. On summer break from studies while attending the University of Toronto in the Psycholinguistics program, Joanne completed her first total kitchen renovation in her childhood home. This love of design and décor was now fully planted.

After a successful career in IT, Joanne has returned to her first love. Over the last few years, she has continued her studies in the Interior Design program while working in the design and décor industry, recently joining the team at 2 Co. Design.

Joanne loves to help clients find the perfect furniture for their space or add the finishing touches to their décor through the selection of accessories.

Charlotte Stapley is a dependable and enthusiastic presence at 2Co.Design Studio, with a true appreciation for the creative process and the collaborative spirit of a design driven environment. Her thoughtful understanding of what designers need most allows her to support a well balanced, efficient, and inspired workplace.
Charlotte brings structure to the studio’s day-to day operations while nurturing the creative energy that fuels our work. Since joining the team, she has played a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes—making space for design, collaboration, and big ideas to thrive.

For Kaylee, design is about more than just aesthetics; it’s about textures, tiles, and the personal touches that make a space feel like home. With an eye for the “Boho-Scandi” look, she thrives on incorporating natural elements and vibrant palettes into her work. Since joining the 2Co.Design team, she has become a key creative force, combining her detail-oriented approach with a talent for social storytelling. She is passionate about the collaborative process, working tirelessly to ensure every client’s vision is realized with joy and authenticity.

Meet our most popular team member. His lifelong passion for interiors is mostly focused on finding the coziest spots for a nap, but his real expertise lies in snack detection and lifting spirits. He is the secret weapon against deadline stress, providing hugs and head pats exactly when they’re needed most. While the rest of the team focuses on design, he focuses on ensuring every visitor feels like a VIP. He’s convinced the studio revolves around him, and frankly, we’re not inclined to argue.
